Role Overview

Quvia is hiring a Sales Director for APAC to manage sales and account relationships for aviation-focused solutions and services. This is an individual contributor role within the Aviation commercial team, with responsibility for developing key global accounts.

The role also focuses on identifying and winning major new customers to help accelerate growth. You will collaborate closely with pre-sales, operations/back-office, and technical teams to ensure that every contract aligns with the product, is technically viable, and creates strategic business value.

The ideal candidate is a structured, committed, and efficient professional who can thrive in a fast-moving startup environment and handle the complexity of large enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create new business opportunities, lead presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Partner with technical solution specialists to develop strong and differentiated proposals.
  • Identify, qualify, educate, and grow opportunities in both existing and new accounts to build profitable revenue.
  • Keep the sales pipeline consistently healthy so it supports and surpasses revenue targets, while generating new ideas for services and products.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to support company goals.
  • Work proactively with different teams to ensure customers receive the right level of support.
  • Take part in strategic customer planning sessions and reviews to ensure alignment with customer priorities.
  • Manage the pipeline in HubSpot and keep reporting up to date.
  • Travel to customer sites for meetings, and attend conferences and trade shows to network and gather market insight.
  • Travel to the Miramar, Florida headquarters for training and team meetings when needed.
  • Monitor and manage expenses in line with accounting rules and budget limits.
  • Coordinate with Finance to confirm billing accuracy and help resolve accounts receivable escalations.
  • Prepare recurring reports covering sales performance, future opportunities, and areas for customer base growth.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of overall experience, including more than 3 years in telecom, technology, or managed services sales using a solution-selling approach, preferably within aviation.
  • A consistent record of maintaining a strong pipeline that helped exceed revenue targets.
  • Experience with inflight entertainment (IFE) and/or inflight connectivity (IFC) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong business understanding, presentation ability, and negotiation skills, with the capability to take deals through to closure.
  • Comfort using spreadsheet tools and sales software.
  • Ability to identify practical solutions to business problems.
  • Capable of working independently while thinking strategically.
  • A hands-on mindset for solving issues and spotting opportunities.
  • Positive, driven, self-initiating, and high-integrity approach to work.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable in a changing environment.
