Role overview

This position is for a Sales Development Representative based in Singapore. The role focuses on researching prospects, reaching out to potential customers, educating them about the product, qualifying leads, and booking demos for an Account Executive.

Who this role suits

Candidates with experience in non-technical sales areas such as car sales, insurance sales, phone sales, logistics sales, or similar fields are encouraged to apply. People with a technical background, including cybersecurity, computer science, IT, or related areas, who want to move into a technology sales career, are also a strong fit.

Location

Singapore, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and expand your own pipeline by proactively creating new qualified opportunities.
  • Find, contact, evaluate, categorize, and monitor leads.
  • Consistently work toward and surpass daily and manager-set activity targets, including cold calls, emails, and other outreach metrics.
  • Use a consultative calling style to prospect effectively, communicate clearly, build confidence, handle objections, and stay resilient.
  • Keep Salesforce records accurate and current, including activity logging, contact details, opportunity forecasting, and relevant prospect information.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity.
  • Take on additional tasks as required.

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and solid follow-up habits.
  • Good listening and analytical ability to understand prospect needs and interests.
  • Experience working toward minimum call volume and/or talk-time expectations.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to explain the value of NinjaOne’s IT management software.
  • A coachable mindset, eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, follow rules of engagement, and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Helpful background with Salesforce or other CRM tools, SalesLoft, and similar sales software, plus experience selling to IT teams, resellers, MSPs, or senior IT decision-makers.
  • No degree is required.
