SM&B is a small but expanding business focused on online executive education. The company supports admissions and promotion for international MBA and DBA programs delivered together with partner universities in Europe.
Its audience is made up mainly of professionals, managers, executives, and entrepreneurs based in French-speaking and English-speaking countries worldwide. The sales function is handled by a team of 5 remote representatives working across different countries, with most leads coming from Google Ads and being managed through a CRM platform.
Role Summary
The company is seeking an experienced Sales Process Consultant to examine, organize, strengthen, and oversee the sales workflow. The aim is to make the process more structured, measurable, and easier for management to control.
In this role, you will assess the current sales journey, pinpoint weak spots, improve follow-up methods, establish clear performance indicators, and support management in monitoring sales execution more effectively.
The organization is especially interested in candidates with a strong background in sales management, ideally within executive education, online learning, higher education, training, or international admissions. Prior exposure to remote sales teams and CRM-driven sales operations is considered a major advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine the complete sales flow, from lead capture through to student enrollment.
- Assess how the team manages leads originating from Google Ads.
- Review the way the CRM is used for calls, follow-ups, lead monitoring, and conversion tracking.
- Spot missing steps, bottlenecks, operational gaps, and areas where the process can be improved.
- Set measurable KPIs for the sales team.
- Build a clear follow-up structure for prospects and candidates.
- Assist leadership in tracking sales activity, call quality, and conversion performance.
- Suggest upgrades to sales scripts, prospect follow-up, and lead nurturing practices.
- Support the coordination of a remote sales team.
- Advise on ways to improve accountability, productivity, and overall sales results.
- Help design reporting tools that monitor leads, calls, appointments, applications, and enrollments.
- Provide actionable recommendations suitable for a small, growing organization.
Required Profile
- Demonstrated background in sales, sales leadership, sales auditing, or improving sales processes.
- Experience supporting or managing remote sales teams.
- Solid knowledge of CRM systems and sales tracking methods.
- Exposure to online education, executive education, higher education, training, admissions, or international student recruitment is strongly preferred.
- Good grasp of digital lead generation, especially through Google Ads.
- Ability to diagnose sales issues and recommend workable solutions.
- Strong analytical and organizational ability.
- Capable of setting up KPIs, dashboards, follow-up workflows, and sales control mechanisms.
- Comfortable working with a small, international, and fast-growing team.
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written, is required.
