Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an HSE training schedule tailored for employees, laborers, and equipment operators.
- Assist in identifying training requirements related to HSE policies, safe work procedures, permit to work systems, behavior-based safety, emergency preparedness, incident investigation, first aid, firefighting, environmental regulations, and more for company and subcontractor supervisory personnel.
- Design and conduct training sessions to address identified HSE needs effectively.
- Lead induction programs for new employees and subcontractor supervisors and workers to ensure safety awareness and compliance.
- Organize and execute regular simulated emergency drills encompassing scenarios such as fire outbreaks, emergency responses, electrocution incidents, and heat-related illnesses.
- Collaborate in preparing Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) documentation for various operations and secure client approvals.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum five years of experience as a Safety/HSE Engineer, preferably in construction projects involving buildings, commercial facilities, industrial sites, bridges, or canal works.
- Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
