About the Role
Unite Students creates safe, welcoming homes for students under their accommodation brands. This permanent full-time position is based at St Luke's View in Liverpool North and entails working night shifts from 10pm to 7am, four nights a week. A competitive salary along with bonuses and benefits will be offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a friendly and supportive point of contact for students during the night hours.
- Ensure the safety and security of the buildings and residents by calmly managing incidents such as fire alarms, noise complaints, and maintenance requests.
- Foster a respectful and caring atmosphere, treating all individuals with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with day and night teams to guarantee smooth handovers and consistent service.
- Maintain the upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of common areas and facilities.
- Identify and respond to wellbeing or welfare concerns among residents, taking appropriate action when noticing issues.
- Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the company's CARE values: Connect, Act, Respect, and Encourage.
Candidate Profile
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in supporting and connecting with students.
- Ability to remain calm and confident when facing unexpected or challenging situations.
- A commitment to doing the right thing and assisting others.
- Experience in customer service or residential settings is preferred but not mandatory; attitude and approach are key.
