Role overview

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is looking for a proactive and community-focused Safer Streets Patrol Officer to join its frontline team. This position supports community safety across the City and helps reduce antisocial behaviour in important public areas. The role involves working across seven days each week as part of a team dedicated to community wellbeing.

The salary package begins at $52.62 per hour.

Key duties

• Carry out visible foot and vehicle patrols in community hot spots.
• Assist people who may be vulnerable and work with local stakeholders.
• Deal with antisocial behaviour and issues related to public safety.
• Work alongside WA Police and service organisations to coordinate support and referrals.
• Keep an eye on City-owned assets, parks and facilities.
• Log incidents and help with community education and outreach.
