As a Room Attendant, you will be a vital part of this experience by maintaining the luxury standards of our hotel environment and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to Sofitel's premium standards.
• Perform scheduled cleanings and deep-clean tasks such as carpet care, grout cleaning, shower heads, minibar replenishment, air-conditioning and cabinetry maintenance.
• Assist with turndown service and support colleagues with bed setup including extra beds and accessibility equipment.
• Keep the hotel impeccably presented and hygienic at all times.
• Respond courteously to guest requests, escalating issues discreetly when needed.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly, following health and safety protocols.
• Operate and care for housekeeping equipment, keeping storage areas organized and well-maintained.
• Assist with laundry logistics, stock replenishment, deliveries, and manage necessary heavy lifting.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Follow security, key management, and confidentiality procedures strictly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel is an advantage.
• Strong communication and organizational skills paired with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Physical stamina to stand and perform manual tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
• High attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of correct cleaning methods and safe chemical handling.
• Proficient in English; additional language skills are beneficial.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Positive mindset and adaptability to challenges.
