Key responsibilities

• Prepare guest rooms to the required housekeeping standard by cleaning and organising them thoroughly.
• Replace used linens and towels, remove waste, and replenish guest amenities.
• Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, and clean mirrors so rooms look presentable.
• Disinfect touchpoints and other surfaces to support hygiene standards.
• Keep cleaning materials and toiletry supplies sufficiently stocked.
• Report repair needs, damage, or other maintenance concerns without delay.
• Follow direction from supervisors and observe all safety procedures.
• Protect guest privacy and ensure rooms remain secure.
• Interact with guests in a courteous, professional manner and respond to requests promptly.

Experience and skills

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar hospitality housekeeping position is preferred. The role also calls for physical stamina, good organisation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Working arrangements and flexibility

Some weekend working may be required. The employer also notes that hours can change or be extended when needed, and you may be asked to take on additional reasonable tasks to support business and client requirements.
