About the role
The Hoxton is hiring a Room Attendant for its Shepherd’s Bush hotel in London. This property sits in the centre of a lively, varied neighbourhood and includes 237 uniquely styled bedrooms, an all-day restaurant called Chet’s, a spacious lobby with vintage-inspired seating and quiet corners, plus a central bar and terrace designed for guests exploring West London.
What you will do
- Clean and service guest rooms so they consistently meet the brand’s presentation and quality expectations.
- Record any maintenance issues in guest rooms and guest corridors using KnowCross.
- Make sure guest rooms always comply with brand standards and audit requirements.
- Clean and maintain public spaces so they remain tidy, attractive, and aligned with brand standards.
- Report faults in public areas and back-of-house spaces through KnowCross.
- Keep all public areas compliant with brand standards and quality audit checks.
- Look after exterior hotel areas, including guest entrances and loading bay spaces.
- Manage the daily delivery and return of linen and terry items.
- Stock linen and housekeeping supplies on guest floors and in storage areas, keeping these spaces clean and orderly.
- Ensure guest floors are maintained to a high standard at all times.
- Support the housekeeping team with additional tasks when needed.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and escalate any breaches to the Head Housekeeper.
- Use cleaning products and materials properly and follow COSHH guidance.
- Attend all required training sessions.
- Keep a warm, positive, and solutions-focused approach throughout the working day.
- Deliver attentive, friendly, and responsive service to guests.
- Assist with cleaning public and back-of-house areas whenever needed.
