Role Purpose
Provide exceptional hospitality by delivering meticulously cleaned and serviced guest rooms that embody a sanctuary of care consistent with a luxury five-star standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned guest rooms, storage spaces, and corridors to uphold the high standards expected of a five-star property.
- Replenish guest supplies and promotional materials in bedrooms and bathrooms in accordance with the room specifications.
- Report any found lost property following proper procedures.
- Execute scheduled and recurring cleaning tasks as delegated.
- Manage guest laundry according to hotel policies.
- Handle equipment with care, clean after use, and report any malfunctions as per procedural guidelines.
- Ensure all departmental equipment is kept in optimal condition and assist with routine stocktaking.
- Secure keys and guest rooms vigilantly, adhering to security protocols and notifying supervisors of suspicious activity.
- Use and store cleaning agents safely, complying with health, safety standards, and manufacturer instructions.
- Assist guests courteously with requests or provide information, referring complex issues to supervisors.
- Participate in turn-down service for guests.
- Clean balconies, balcony furnishings, railings, and carpets comprehensively.
- Perform detailed upkeep such as descaling showerheads, bleaching bathroom grout, and general bedroom maintenance.
- Support teammates by assisting with extra beds, bed frames, and making beds as needed.
- Engage warmly and thoughtfully with guests, applying emotional intelligence to enhance the luxurious service experience.
- Work independently when required to complete room cleaning.
Candidate Qualifications
- At least six months’ experience in a luxury or five-star hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
- Capability to remain effective and calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong team collaboration skills combined with good physical fitness required for demanding manual tasks.
- Meticulous attention to detail with dedication to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.
- Self-driven with the ability to autonomously manage multiple duties simultaneously.
- Clean police record is essential.
