Roof Membrane Installer

Role Overview

Join our dedicated manufacturing and installation team in Letterkenny as an experienced Roof Membrane Installer. Your primary responsibility will be to install roof membrane systems on data centre modular units both within our production facility and on various on-site locations as project demands require. This position demands manual skill, precision, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards due to the critical nature of the data centre environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply roof membrane solutions, including hot-air welded, mechanically fastened, and fully adhered systems.
• Execute roofing tasks on data centre modular units to ensure durable and weather-resistant roofing.
• Prepare surfaces by installing insulation boards, vapour barriers, and addressing details around edges and penetrations.
• Fit trims, upstands, drainage outlets, and handle detailing around service penetrations and interface zones.
• Interpret technical drawings, product specifications, and data sheets for job execution.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Maintain rigorous Health & Safety practices consistently.
• Collaborate effectively with production, quality assurance, and on-site personnel to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Travel to customer and installation sites as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Documented experience installing roof membrane systems.
• Strong expertise in flat roofing, preferably within industrial or modular construction settings.
• In-depth knowledge of roofing details, welding methods, and roof system assemblies.
• Capable of working autonomously with limited supervision.
• Commitment to quality and a keen eye for detail.
• Prepared to travel for site-based installations.
• Physically capable and comfortable working at heights where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

• Certification as a membrane installer.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
• MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) or Working at Heights certification.
• Experience working on data centre or other critical infrastructure projects is an advantage.
