Job description

Job Overview

This role involves taking comprehensive charge of Facility and Administrative operations to ensure seamless technical maintenance and support in the workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical inspections daily, weekly, and monthly as outlined by the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
  • Respond to Trouble Ticket (TT) calls addressing corrective maintenance, repairs, and servicing tasks promptly.
  • Coordinate with vendors managing systems under warranty or Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
  • Record and monitor energy consumption accurately.
  • Oversee diesel generator (DG) maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical conveyor systems efficiently.
  • Expertly install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution networks, branch circuits, lighting, transformers, and associated wiring materials.
  • Troubleshoot relay logic systems including ladder diagrams and various control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tacks, and encoders.
  • Maintain a secure and customer-focused environment to support operational production.
  • Perform minor refurbishments and upgrades to building finishes, fixtures, fittings, furniture, and operational equipment including trolleys, cages, and carts.
  • Conduct routine fire alarm and fire extinguisher inspections.
  • Perform regular maintenance such as oiling and greasing of carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.
  • Address regular electrical repair tasks as they arise.
  • Issue permits for height-related work and hot work enabling safe operations.
  • Handle minor civil and plumbing maintenance corrective actions.
  • Generate daily reports detailing TT closures, open issues, and root cause analyses (RCA).
  • Update and maintain tool inventories.
  • Supervise adherence to the PPM maintenance schedule.
  • Manage soft services like pest control, housekeeping, scrap, and garbage disposal operations.
  • Lead and manage agency staff and overall shift functioning.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation and Controls, or related fields with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred qualifications include a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent.
