River Stateroom Steward

Role Overview

Join our Housekeeping team aboard Viking's River vessels as a Stateroom Steward/ess, delivering warm and personalized housekeeping services to our guests. Your duties center on upholding exceptional cleanliness and consistency across guest staterooms and public spaces while providing excellent customer service. You will report directly to the Housekeeper.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of guest cabins, public areas, restrooms, and reception spaces ensuring high hygiene standards.
• Handle cleaning products and housekeeping tools with care and responsibility.
• Participate in laundry duties such as washing, ironing, and folding linens and guest items on a rotating basis.
• Distribute daily programs, manage gift orders, and provide turn down services in staterooms.
• Report any technical issues related to staterooms to supervisors or reception and assist during embarkation and disembarkation.
• Conduct stock inventories, manage supplies, and engage in onboard training activities.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a high school diploma is mandatory.
• At least two years of experience in a similar housekeeping role is required.
• Proficiency in English is necessary; additional languages are advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously with a strong service and guest-oriented attitude.
• Maintains excellent personal grooming, hygiene, and confidentiality standards.

• Only tattoos that can be fully covered by the uniform are acceptable.
