About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to lead the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of risks across multiple projects and various organizational functions. This role involves developing and sustaining comprehensive risk management frameworks, performing detailed risk analysis, tracking significant issues, and assisting leadership in executing informed decisions to safeguard project success, financial health, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a broad risk management framework applicable to projects and operational activities.
  • Identify potential risks concerning timelines, budgets, safety, quality standards, contractual commitments, and operational workflows.
  • Perform both qualitative and quantitative risk evaluations, encompassing probability and impact analyses.
  • Maintain an updated risk register, monitoring mitigation strategies, accountabilities, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and senior leaders to execute risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Observe early warning signs and promptly alert management about critical risks.
  • Conduct root-cause investigations for incidents, schedule setbacks, or budgetary discrepancies.
  • Contribute risk-related insights during tendering, planning, and execution phases of projects.
  • Compile regular risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for review by executives.
  • Lead risk workshops, training activities, and awareness programs for project teams.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, contractual terms, and industry regulations.
  • Support business continuity planning and preparedness for crisis response.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Risk Management, Project Management, or a related discipline; certifications such as PMI-RMP or ISO 31000 are beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management, project control, or planning roles within construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk identification, assessment techniques, and mitigation approaches.
  • Familiarity with risk management tools and relevant software applications.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams managing multiple complex projects.
