Role overview
Amazon is looking for a proactive Channel Team Leader to join its AMET Reverse Logistics operations in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role sits within Amazon Worldwide Operations, the engine behind the company’s fulfillment and customer service experience, and supports a team focused on reverse logistics across the MENA region.
This position calls for someone who is analytical, adaptable, and comfortable working with multiple internal and external partners. You will be expected to monitor several sites from both an operational and compliance standpoint, support timely launches, and help improve performance by spotting trends, interruptions, and opportunities for better results.
What you will do
- Assess transportation and logistics challenges quickly, identify what is working well and what is not, and recommend practical improvements.
- Translate business needs into process understanding, workflow analysis, solution design, and functional specifications.
- Use data to track performance, build reports, prepare executive updates, support forecasting and budgeting, and uncover opportunities to improve customer experience.
- Research and apply relevant industry practices when solving operational problems.
- Design, test, and scale programs that improve performance, reduce return cycle time, enhance delivery experience, support financial auditing, and evaluate alternative delivery options.
- Track daily program performance and prepare action plans to meet targets.
- Handle ramp-ups and scouting activities.
- Coordinate vendor-related activities.
- Prepare daily performance summaries.
Requirements
- Fluency in spoken, written, and read English.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Background in an operational role is preferred.
