Role Overview
This is a practical, fast-moving retail support role suited to someone who enjoys staying active and being part of a team. The position helps keep store operations running smoothly across the sales floor and back-of-house warehouse.
As a Retail Store Person, you will assist with daily retail activities, support customer order pickups, and contribute to efficient stock movement and warehouse organisation.
Key Duties
- Carefully load weekly trucks and containers while handling stock safely
- Help customers collect their orders in a smooth and friendly way
- Assist the sales team by moving stock and products onto the shop floor
- Record goods accurately in the operating system when received
- Assemble furniture with care and attention to detail
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements
- Keep the store and warehouse clean, orderly, safe, and well maintained
- Use initiative, solve problems, and work effectively in a busy team-based environment
Skills and Experience

- Prior experience in a similar warehousing or distribution support role
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and software, including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Clear and effective communication skills
- Dependable, committed, proactive, and self-motivated with a positive can-do approach
Physical Requirements
Because this is a furniture retail environment, the role involves frequent manual handling, including lifting, carrying, and moving items of different sizes. Applicants must be able to complete these tasks safely as part of normal daily duties.
