What you can expect

  • A 38-hour working week with no fixed salary; pay is based on hours worked, and overtime penalties apply if ordinary hours are exceeded.

  • Strong progression pathways, with opportunities to grow into roles such as Store Manager, Visual Merchandiser, or Stock Coordinator, alongside broader career routes into Cluster, Regional, and State leadership.

About the company

Founded in Torquay, Victoria in the early 2000s, Ghanda Clothing set out to create affordable, high-quality clothing that the market was missing. It has since grown into a well-known Australian-owned and operated fashion brand with more than 100 stores nationwide.

Key accountabilities

  • Guide, coach, and develop a store team of up to 20 people.
  • Promote and reinforce Ghanda’s values across the team.
  • Keep the store visually strong and aligned with merchandising standards and brand direction.
  • Work with the stock allocator and independently manage stock levels so floor space is used effectively.
  • Plan and review store rosters, sales performance, and team/store compliance.

Who we are looking for

  • A proven leader who sets the standard by example, supports team growth, and leads in a way that reflects the company’s values.
  • Someone who puts the customer first, understands the basics of retail execution, and takes store performance seriously.
  • Previous retail or hospitality experience is helpful, but not essential; the company places more weight on attitude and fit.
