Role Summary
SUN LOVE is looking for a part-time Retail Sales Development Associate who can help expand the brand’s retail and wholesale footprint across spas, resorts, boutiques, wellness businesses, and other aligned partnership channels. This is a practical outbound sales role for someone who enjoys prospecting, follow-up, and pipeline management. The company already has a target account list, a pipeline tracker, and a weekly activity rhythm in place; the focus now is on driving steady progress through outreach, sample coordination, meeting booking, and converting prospects into first orders.
The right person will be well organized, persistent, comfortable with sales outreach, and motivated by helping shape a retail sales function for an early-stage skincare and suncare business. This role does not require creating the entire sales strategy from scratch, but it does require disciplined execution, clear reporting, and consistent relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Work through a prioritized list of prospective accounts in boutiques, spas, resorts, wellness businesses, clean beauty retailers, hospitality partners, and other wholesale channels.
- Identify buyer contacts, store owners, decision-makers, account-fit indicators, and potential warm-introduction opportunities.
- Carry out outbound prospecting through email, phone, social media, direct messages, and other suitable channels.
- Maintain steady follow-up to advance prospects through the sales funnel.
- Coordinate samples, monitor sample status, capture buyer feedback, and document next actions.
- Arrange meetings with buyers, owners, spa directors, retail managers, and other decision-makers.
- Keep the pipeline tracker accurate, current, and ready for weekly review.
- Log account stage, last activity, next step, next step date, estimated opportunity value, and notes.
- Deliver weekly updates covering outreach volume, follow-ups, buyer replies, meetings, samples sent, first orders, and stalled opportunities.
- Spot new target accounts as patterns, openings, or opportunities emerge.
- Share feedback on objections, messaging, fit, and sales opportunities.
- Support conversion of qualified prospects into first-time orders and revenue-generating accounts.
Weekly Success Metrics
- Number of new accounts researched and qualified.
- Number of new buyer contacts identified.
- Volume of outbound messages sent.
- Follow-ups completed.
- Buyer responses received.
- Meetings or calls booked.
- Samples requested or dispatched.

Qualifications
- Strong discipline around follow-through and outbound selling.
- Ability to manage multiple account conversations at the same time.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort using spreadsheets, CRM-style trackers, or other sales pipeline tools.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to help shape a sales process from the ground up.
- Comfort with rejection, persistent follow-up, and buyer outreach.
- Interest in skincare, wellness, beauty, hospitality, lifestyle brands, or consumer products.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, marketing, hospitality, wholesale, or business development is preferred.
- Background in beauty, skincare, spa, wellness, resort, boutique retail, or consumer packaged goods is an added advantage.
Compensation and Growth
SUN LOVE is an early-stage company and offers a flexible compensation setup for the right candidate. The package may include a nominal monthly stipend or part-time base pay, sales incentives tied to qualified activity, buyer meetings, samples sent, and closed accounts, and commission or account-ownership compensation of about 3% to 5% of collected net wholesale revenue for accounts directly sourced and actively managed by the candidate.
Additional upside may include bonuses linked to first orders, account launches, reorders, and major pipeline milestones. Exceptional long-term performance may also be considered for expanded compensation or role growth. The compensation structure, account ownership, and scope of the role may be revisited after one year depending on company performance, individual contribution, and revenue impact.
