Role Overview
WHOOP is hiring a Retail Associate to help run WHOOP Qatar, an experience-led performance center, research space, and retail store in Msheireb. The role is centered on creating a premium, insight-driven member journey while supporting store operations, sales, and brand presentation.
This position works across extended operating hours, with the location open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, and reports to the Retail Lead, WHOOP Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep daily retail operations running smoothly while maintaining high standards for service, store order, and execution.
- Guide members through WHOOP products, memberships, and insights, adapting each interaction to their personal performance objectives.
- Contribute to revenue by selling memberships, accessories, apparel, and the WHOOP Your Way experience, while staying focused on sales goals.
- Represent the brand with a polished, premium approach in member interactions, product displays, and overall store atmosphere.
- Support merchandising, inventory control, replenishment, and upkeep of a tidy, well-run retail space.
- Help deliver events and in-store activations, ensuring they are executed smoothly and engage members effectively.
- Work closely with the Retail Lead and wider team to stay aligned with brand, marketing, and operational plans.
- Handle daily tasks with care and accuracy, including transactions, reporting, compliance, and store procedures.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of retail experience, ideally in premium, luxury, or experiential retail settings.
- Strong enthusiasm for health, fitness, performance, and technology, along with the ability to clearly explain WHOOP’s offering.
- A demonstrated track record of delivering excellent customer service and building strong member relationships.
- Comfort in a busy, fast-moving retail environment with long operating hours and high footfall.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative attitude.
- Working knowledge of retail operations such as POS systems, stock management, and sales tracking.
- Arabic language skills are preferred.
- Willingness to actively use AI tools in everyday work while maintaining the same quality standards expected of personal output.
Additional Information
The role is based onsite in Doha, Qatar, at WHOOP Qatar in Msheireb. The store operates for 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, so candidates should be comfortable working extended hours and in an active retail setting.
