About the Role

The Restaurant Supervisor leads the front-of-house (FOH) team, ensuring seamless daily operations and delivering outstanding guest experiences. Supporting the Cluster Restaurant Manager, this position oversees operational duties such as stock control, reporting, and team management whilst upholding the high standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism at The Dose by Silvena.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the FOH staff to guarantee guests receive courteous, professional, and efficient service at all times.
  • Address guest queries and handle complaints promptly, escalating significant issues to the Cluster Restaurant Manager when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and orderly restaurant environment continually.
  • Lead and train new FOH employees on service excellence, menu details, point-of-sale system usage, and hygiene protocols.
  • Conduct daily team briefings and track task completion to ensure high standards and accountability.
  • Inspire the team to sustain top-quality service during every shift, preparing and managing staffing schedules efficiently.
  • Perform weekly and monthly inventory counts of beverages, disposables, and service materials, placing accurate stock orders as required.
  • Monitor stock consumption, manage waste and shortages, reporting insights to the Cluster Restaurant Manager.
  • Submit daily sales data and support cash handling and POS reconciliations.
  • Ensure FOH stations, service zones, and beverage areas are properly arranged and maintained.
  • Coordinate service workflows and assign team roles to optimize operational efficiency during shifts.
  • Enforce hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards among FOH staff to comply with health regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to HACCP and Dubai Municipality health and safety guidelines.
  • Promptly report any operational or maintenance concerns for timely resolution.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years’ supervisory experience within a premium restaurant or café setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication capabilities, coupled with a proactive management style.
  • Familiarity with stock control, ordering processes, and operational reporting.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, professional outlook with a strong guest-service orientation.
  • Proficient in POS systems and fundamental computer skills.
