Job description

Role overview

This is a Restaurant Manager position for a gastro pub at Longford Forest in Ballymahon, County Longford, Ireland. The role offers a salary of €60,000 per year plus a 12% bonus scheme. You will be responsible for leading day-to-day restaurant operations, maintaining strong guest satisfaction, managing financial performance and helping the team deliver memorable experiences.

  • Oversee budgets, track performance and put practical cost-saving actions in place.
  • Develop colleagues through training, coaching and performance management.

What you should bring

  • Demonstrated leadership background with the ability to influence others effectively.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, delivery management and business planning.
  • Confident computer skills and the ability to analyse information.
  • Experience working in a large organisation with full management accountability.
  • Background in training and developing teams to improve performance and support growth.
  • A motivating, empathetic leadership style with a coaching mindset and focus on individual accountability.

Working pattern

This is a full-time role with a contracted 150 hours across each 4-week period. Shifts are straight shifts and the schedule needs to be fully flexible. The role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
