About the Role
Join Vangard Hospitality as a Restaurant Cashier located in Kochi, Kerala. This position involves engaging warmly with customers, managing transactions, and supporting the overall customer experience at the checkout counter.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers courteously and assist them during checkout procedures.
- Scan items accurately ensuring correct pricing.
- Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and digital methods.
- Accurately issue receipts, refunds, and return change.
- Keep the checkout area tidy and well-organized.
- Reconcile cash register at shift start and completion.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or refer to management as needed.
- Perform purchase order goods receipt note entry and other administrative tasks.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and operational procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Fundamental arithmetic and computer literacy.
- Previous experience as a cashier or customer service role is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Accuracy and responsibility in handling money transactions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
