Job description

Role Overview

Northern News Services is recruiting a full-time Resource Biologist to work with the Joint Secretariat and support the Fisheries and Joint Management Committee (FJMC). This position is based in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada.

About the Team

The Joint Secretariat supports the Fisheries and Joint Management Committee in carrying out its responsibilities across fisheries and marine mammal policy, research, renewable resource management, conservation, regulation, and enforcement.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will provide both technical and administrative assistance to help the committee fulfill its mandate on matters connected to fisheries and marine mammal policy, research, conservation, resource management, regulation, and enforcement.
