The company syndicates rental listings across MLS and more than 20 platforms, managing the entire leasing process from listing creation through move-in.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Cleaner to perform cleaning services at residential rental properties. The role involves move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparing properties to be listing-ready. This position suits individuals who are professional, organized, experienced, and capable of working independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential rental locations including move-in, move-out, rental turnover, and listing preparation.
- Deliver thorough general cleaning strictly adhering to company standards.
- Clean all residential areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, and various fixtures including appliances and cabinetry.
- Ensure removal of dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as required.
- Wipe down surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and high-touch zones.
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
- Clean inside appliances like refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers as specified.
- Identify and report areas requiring extra cleaning, repairs, junk removal, maintenance, or follow-up actions before listing or move-in.
- Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting cleaning results.
- Submit detailed updates including notes, photos, and videos following each cleaning visit.
- Maintain professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants when necessary, and internal teams.
- Strictly follow provided company instructions, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment details.
Additional Cleaning Tasks May Include
- Deep cleaning tasks as required for move-in or move-out readiness.
- Cabinet and drawer cleaning, window sill and baseboard dusting.
- Garbage and minor debris removal ensuring pristine property conditions.
- Preparing properties for photography, showings, inspections, or tenant move-in.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or related residential cleaning position.
- Sound understanding of residential cleaning protocols and standards.
- Own reliable transportation to travel between multiple residential properties.
- Possession of all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each task.
- Comfort with independently accessing and cleaning multiple rental locations.
- Use of a smartphone (iPhone 13 or equivalent) with a high-resolution camera for documentation.
- Proficient at taking high-quality photos and videos to document work completed.
- Ability to write clear, informative notes and submit timely updates after cleaning jobs.
- Highly organized, punctual, dependable, and professional conduct.
- Capability to follow structured checklists, instructions, and property access guidelines.
- Respectful and professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants, and company team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with move-in, move-out, or turnover cleaning in residential rentals.
- Prior familiarity with preparing rental homes for photographic listings, inspections, and viewings.
- Experience spotting property damage, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access challenges, or unsafe environments and reporting them appropriately.
- Field experience working independently within property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services organizations.
