Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to perform cleaning duties at residential rental units. This position involves move-in, move-out, rental turnover, and property readiness cleaning. The role supports property owners, tenants, and internal team members by ensuring homes are maintained to company standards, ready for inspections, showings, or move-ins.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential rental properties.
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
- Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and unwanted items as needed.
- Wipe down counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched surfaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor cleanliness.
- Clean interior parts of appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when required.
- Identify areas needing extra cleaning, repairs, junk removal, or maintenance follow-up.
- Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting the cleaning work.
- Provide detailed reports, notes, and visual updates after each visit.
- Communicate professionally with property owners, tenants, prospective tenants, and internal staff.
- Adhere to company cleaning protocols, checklists, property access instructions, and appointment details.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning residences or similar roles such as housekeeper or cleaning contractor.
- Comprehensive understanding of residential cleaning practices and standards.
- Access to reliable transportation to travel between properties.
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments.
- Comfortable working independently at residential properties without supervision.
- Use of a smartphone with a high-quality camera (iPhone 13 or equivalent) to document work.
- Ability to write clear notes and submit updates after each cleaning assignment.
- Punctual, professional, organized, and detail-focused attitude.
- Capability to follow detailed checklists, instructions, and property access guidelines.
- Respectful communication skills with all stakeholders involved.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning settings.
- Familiarity with preparing rental homes for photography, showing, inspections, or move-ins.
- Skill in identifying property damage, maintenance issues, junk disposal needs, pest problems, access challenges, or safety hazards.
- Previous field experience with property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services sectors.
