Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental properties. Responsibilities include performing move-in and move-out cleans, turnover cleaning between tenants, and preparing listings for showings or inspections by ensuring rental units are pristine and ready.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Travel to residential rental locations to perform scheduled cleaning appointments including move-in/out and rental turnover tasks.
• Conduct general residential cleaning to company standards, covering kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, and related areas.
• Clean appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers as needed.
• Remove dust, debris, garbage, and leftover items from properties.
• Wipe down surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain various types of flooring.
• Identify and report areas needing extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up actions.
• Document each cleaning session with clear before-and-after photos and videos of the property and work completed.
• Provide detailed updates, notes, and photographic/video evidence after each visit.
• Engage professionally with landlords, applicants, tenants where relevant, and internal staff.
• Strictly adhere to company-issued checklists, access instructions, and appointment details.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or as a cleaning contractor for residential properties.
• Thorough understanding of residential cleaning standards and procedures.
• Reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel between locations.
• Possession of necessary cleaning equipment and supplies for each job.
• Capable of working independently without supervision in the field.
• Own an iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone with a high-quality camera suitable for documenting work.
• Strong ability to capture clear photos and videos and to write precise notes after visits.
• Dependable, punctual, detail-conscious, and professional demeanor.
• Effective communication skills to interact courteously with landlords, applicants, tenants (when applicable), and team members.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, checklists, and property access protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
• Familiarity with preparing rental properties for listing photos, showings, inspections, and tenant move-ins.
• Able to recognize and report damage, maintenance issues, pest concerns, junk needs, access difficulties, or safety hazards.
• Worked autonomously onsite for companies focused on property management, leasing, cleaning services, or home maintenance.

• Ability to submit timely and accurate updates with photos, videos, and notes after each cleaning visit.

Additional Information

This position centers entirely on cleaning responsibilities and preparing properties for listing and tenancy. Cleaners are expected to report any visible damage, maintenance needs, junk, pest problems, access issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate internal team for follow-up.
