Residential Cleaner

Position Summary

Our client seeks a dependable and meticulous Residential Cleaner to service homes by carrying out comprehensive cleaning tasks including move-in, move-out, rental turnover, and property-preparation cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit residential locations for scheduled cleaning services, ensuring homes are ready for occupancy or inspections.
• Perform thorough cleaning duties adhering strictly to company standards covering areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, floors, appliances, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Remove all dirt, dust, debris, and garbage as needed while sanitizing high-touch points.
• Use vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and detailed appliance interior cleaning techniques.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues, damage, junk removal needs, or safety concerns encountered during visits.
• Provide clear documentation of work completed through before-and-after photos and videos, along with detailed notes after each assignment.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with property tenants, landlords, and internal teams.
• Follow prescribed checklists, appointment guidelines, and property access instructions meticulously.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience in residential cleaning or related housekeeping roles is essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of home cleaning procedures and standards.
• Must possess reliable transportation and necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each appointment.
• Capable of working independently without direct supervision.
• Own a smartphone equivalent to iPhone 13 featuring a high-quality camera for documentation purposes.
• Competent in taking clear photographs and videos and submitting detailed updates post-visit.
• Strong organizational skills, punctuality, professionalism, and attention to detail are critical.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and communicate respectfully with all stakeholders.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with move-in/out or rental turnover cleaning preferred.
• Skill in recognizing property issues such as damages, maintenance needs, or pests.
• Background working independently for property management or similar home service providers is advantageous.

Additional Field Requirements

• Own transportation for traveling between residential sites.
• Bring all required cleaning tools and materials to each appointment.
• Use of high-quality smartphone camera for consistent visual documentation.
• Ability to effectively communicate status updates, including photographs and detailed notes, after each cleaning job.
