Resident Technical Officer

Role Overview

As a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) at GeoAlliance Consultants Pte Ltd, you will be positioned full-time onsite at projects for Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA). Your role includes assisting and reporting to the Resident Engineer (RE) and Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) in overseeing site operations and incident monitoring, including near-misses. Ensuring compliance to safety and quality standards is critical.

Key Duties

• Support the RE and SRE by monitoring all site activities and reporting any non-compliance to the RE and Qualified Person Supervision (QPS).
• Assist in supervising various construction tasks such as replacement, extension, and reconfiguration of viaduct/bridge works, civil infrastructure, flexible pavement installation, road realignment, fencing, and related construction efforts.
• Prepare and submit daily progress and incident reports regularly and upon client request.
• Oversee all construction actions to ensure adherence to project plans, drawings, risk assessments, and specifications.
• Work in rotation shifts as required.
• Maintain strict compliance with health and safety policies on site.
• Ensure contractors and subcontractors meet client safety requirements and complete safety checklists.
• Reject substandard work on-site and notify the RE to initiate a non-conformance notice.
• Assist RE with management and documentation of site changes and monitor construction timelines.
• Provide dedicated supervisory presence during critical site operations.
• Stationed full-time at the project site, working 44 hours weekly.

Additional Information

• Primary location: Changi Aviation Park, Singapore.
• Transport allowance of SGD 120 per month is included.
