Role Overview
The Call Team Researcher position is essential within our service delivery framework. Adhering strictly to SOPs, the researcher verifies candidate-provided data and inputs verification results into client reports. This role encompasses entry-level to experienced researchers and may involve verifications conducted in multiple languages, based on requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform duties professionally to facilitate candidates' successful hiring.
- Efficiently verify and research facts provided by candidates to complete screening promptly.
- Communicate tactfully with candidates to acquire missing or clarifying information swiftly.
- Provide ongoing support and maintain contact with candidates throughout the screening process as needed.
- Coordinate with teams to update clients on screening progress or issues.
- Understand and comply with service level agreements and client requirements.
- Implement procedural changes following updates in service agreements.
- Maintain accurate records during the background verification stages.
- Generate client reports that are precise and reflect comprehensive verification details according to standards.
- Meet departmental quality and productivity benchmarks consistently.
- Handle telephone calls professionally, embodying the company’s philosophy of helping candidates get hired.
- Support team members collaboratively to fulfill customer expectations.
- Respond promptly and diligently to all requests, reports, and escalations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and suggest changes.
- Be open to cross-training outside immediate responsibilities.
- Assist in mentoring, coaching, and training new team members.
- Specifically, verify educational and employment sections of candidate screenings using resources like phone, email, and internet tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate qualification in any discipline.
- Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in public records research, background verification is favored.
- Proficient communication skills in spoken and written English, with polite and clear interaction.
- Computer savvy with expertise in Microsoft Office suite and email usage.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to evaluate information swiftly and systematically.
- Comfortable and confident in telephone communication, effectively following up to complete tasks while maintaining good client and candidate relations.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Availability to work from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST.
