Job description
About the team
You would be joining an expanding group of brand strategists, marketing professionals, and consumer researchers with deep expertise in mental availability research. The team focuses on Distinctive Brand Asset (DBA) testing and Category Entry Point (CEP) research and tracking, turning research outputs into practical business direction. Their work combines consumer insight, data modelling, and marketing know-how to support best-practice, effectiveness-led strategies for global clients.
The business operates two core offerings: Distinctive BAT and Salience+, and sits as a standalone unit within a larger research organisation. Its client base includes well-known international brands such as Spotify, Audi, Kellanova, MARS Foods, Pizza Hut, Molson Coors, Kenvue, Canva, and Johnson & Johnson.
Role overview
This position is centered on managing consumer research projects from setup through delivery, with a strong focus on DBA and CEP work. You will partner with client teams during briefing, set up projects carefully, coordinate fieldwork with panel partners, and help ensure accurate and timely delivery. You will also support the Insights Directors with analysis and reporting, producing polished, client-ready insight that is clear, actionable, and visually strong.
Beyond client delivery, the role contributes to improving internal processes and operational efficiency. It also supports wider content efforts across the business, including PR, research communications, and social media activity.
Responsibilities
- Manage brand and brand-asset research projects end to end.
- Review, organise, and refine client briefs into workable research inputs.
- Handle asset sourcing and preparation.

- Coordinate fieldwork and monitor progress with research partners.
- Analyse results, build charts, and create visual outputs.
- Prepare reports and support client briefings.
- Support the setup and delivery of Category Entry Point research and tracking assignments.
- Conduct secondary research where needed.
- Contribute to brand health tracking and pack testing projects as required.
- Help improve operational efficiency across the business.
- Create blog posts, social media content, and other marketing materials.
- Assist with thought-leadership research in DBA, CEP, effectiveness, and branding.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or brand tracking; alternatively, 5 years in marketing effectiveness or branding.
- Strong project management capability and a proactive working style.
- Good numerical ability and confidence working with data.
- Advanced comfort with Excel and data manipulation, or similar analytical tools.
- Experience coordinating external suppliers such as panel providers and translation agencies.
- Ability to produce charts and visualisations in Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent tools.
- Comfort using AI tools to support workflows and task management.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Genuine interest in marketing effectiveness, branding, visual identity, and Distinctive Brand Assets.
- Awareness of leading thinking in marketing effectiveness and familiarity with the work of Binet, Field, Nelson-Field, Ritson, Roach, Romaniuk, Sharp, Snijders, and others in the field.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence presenting to clients and discussing relevant topics with peers.
- Ability to turn data into engaging, story-led insights.
Location and working pattern
The role is available in Dublin or Kingston-Upon-Thames, London, both in a hybrid setup. The expectation is to work from the office at least 2 to 3 days each week. The posting also refers to Dublin-based and London-based salary bands.
