The Advisors Research Center (ARC) is a global research unit within Mastercard dedicated to delivering comprehensive research services to clients. As a Research Consultant at ARC based in Toronto, Canada, you will be integral in facilitating the entire research life cycle and imparting essential insights to Mastercard's clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities and Personal Attributes

Successful candidates will be enthusiastic about understanding human behavior and eager to learn diverse research methodologies. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, internal stakeholders, and global team members, demonstrating meticulous organizational, prioritization, and time management skills. Synthesizing information from multiple sources into coherent narratives and actively engaging in client discussions and team workshops is expected. Thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should have prior experience within a research agency or corporate research role, contributing to the creation and execution of custom research projects, including designing screeners, discussion guides, survey instruments, scripting, analyzing data, and producing deliverables. Proficiency with online survey platforms like Qualtrics and DisplayR, and statistical tools such as SPSS, Q, SAS, R, or Matlab is required. Experience in varied research methodologies—usage and attitude studies, conjoint/discrete choice analysis, concept testing, MaxDiff, drivers analysis, segmentation—is beneficial.

Capability to transform data into strategic insights and to manage multiple projects simultaneously is necessary. Familiarity with quantitative research is preferred. Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of project management tools are expected. Note that candidates must be eligible to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.

The salary range for this position in Toronto is CAD 97,000 to 131,000 annually. • Adhere to Mastercard’s security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
  • Report any suspected security violations or breaches.
  • Complete mandatory security training as per Mastercard’s requirements.
