Position Overview

The Child Health and Human Development Program (CHHD) is recruiting a self-motivated and organized individual to join its renal genetics research team. Reporting to the Principal Investigator and the Genetic Counsellor, this role supports research on implementing genetic services for hereditary kidney diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the development of study protocols, consent documentation, and questionnaires.
• Provide assistance with ethics board submissions and amendments.
• Support participant recruitment, collect data, and maintain study documentation in line with protocols.
• Maintain thorough and timely record-keeping and research organization.
• Aid in drafting and submitting scientific abstracts and manuscripts.
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and support knowledge synthesis tasks.

Education & Experience

• Master's degree in sciences or health-related field is required; a bachelor's degree with suitable research experience may be considered.
• Prior clinical research experience is advantageous.

Language Requirements

• Advanced fluency in French, both written and spoken.
• Advanced proficiency in English, written and oral, is essential due to regular complex interactions with English-speaking patients, researchers, and stakeholders.

Additional Information

• Employment status: Temporary, full-time (35 hours per week).
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Location: Glen Site, 1001 Decarie Boulevard, Montreal.
• Hybrid work arrangement available, combining on-site and remote work.
