About the Role
As a Research and Development Engineer, you will assist the Head of R&TD in developing new technologies and products, optimizing processes, evaluating materials, conducting trials and tests, and transferring technology to production, specifically focusing on fluoropolymers and engineering plastics throughout their development lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute actively to the development of new products from initial idea to market launch.
- Perform studies to optimize processes aiming to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Evaluate materials related to fluoropolymers and engineering plastics.
- Plan and carry out trials and testing for validation of new products and processes.
- Facilitate the technology transfer of new processes and products to production teams.
- Engage comprehensively with projects involving fluoropolymer and engineering plastic materials across all development stages.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of polymer and fluoropolymer materials and their processing techniques.
- Proven experience in research and development, product/process development, or technology advancement roles.
- Hands-on experience with trial execution, testing procedures, and technology transfer to production environments.
- Experience specifically with fluoropolymer materials is highly desirable.

- Excellent collaborative skills to coordinate effectively with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance departments.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Diploma in Polymer Technology or Mechanical Engineering, or a Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering degree in Plastics Technology, Materials Science and Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Compensation
Annual salary package ranges between 500000 and 700000 INR.
Location
Position is based in Mahad, India, requiring onsite presence.
