The Business Analyst Club is a professional network that brings together seasoned practitioners, students, and enthusiasts who share a passion for business analysis. The club emphasizes bridging the divide between IT and business through data analytics to evaluate processes, specify requirements, and produce data-driven reports and recommendations for stakeholders. The organization offers flexible contract structures—hourly or fixed-term—and fosters an inclusive culture that values diverse viewpoints and active involvement.
Role Overview
The Representative role, based full-time and on-site in Bahir Dar, serves as the main contact point for members and partners. Responsibilities include addressing inquiries, clarifying club services, and guiding potential and existing members through membership processes and engagement options. Daily tasks involve supporting recruitment efforts for remote professionals, organizing local events or information sessions, accurately documenting member interactions, and disseminating updates on club initiatives and resources. This position also entails community outreach to promote the club, collecting member feedback to enhance offerings, and working closely with the core team to ensure consistent communication and positive membership experiences.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to professionally interact with members, partners, and stakeholders.
- Experience in customer service or community engagement, including managing inquiries, providing assistance, and nurturing relationships.
- Basic familiarity with business analysis, data analytics, or related domains, with eagerness to expand knowledge in IT-business collaboration.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities for multitasking, record-keeping, and event coordination.
- Proficiency with standard office and collaboration software such as email, spreadsheets, and online platforms, alongside a readiness to learn new tools.
- Capacity to work full-time on-site in Bahir Dar and collaborate effectively within a diverse and inclusive team setting.
- Prior roles as a representative, coordinator, or administrator are advantageous; post-secondary education in business, IT, communications, or similar fields is preferred.
