Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily activities for a designated department within the store, ensuring seamless operations.
- Work rigorously to meet or surpass departmental sales and profitability targets.
- Mentor and guide team members on best practices in customer assistance, product comprehension, and effective merchandising.
- Guarantee shelves are well-stocked, visually appealing, and accurately priced.
- Track inventory, collaborating cross-departmentally for prompt replenishment.
- Sustain a safe, organized environment for both team members and shoppers.
- Support budget development and tightly manage departmental spending.
- Frequently interact with store leadership and other managers to align on store goals.
- Actively recruit and identify potential new hires to strengthen the team.
- Empower, inspire, and coach staff to drive workplace engagement and reduce turnover.
- Promote and practice elevated standards in both operations and merchandising.
- Cultivate diverse, inclusive groups where everyone feels respected and valued.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum high school diploma required; relevant college courses are an asset.
- Significant experience managing in a retail environment, ideally within department or specialty stores.
- Demonstrable leadership with a knack for developing team members’ abilities.
- Strong skills in time and task organization.
- Availability to adjust work hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Solid computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office suite.
- Understanding of fundamental retail operations—product presentation, inventory control, and exceptional customer care.
- Physical capability to handle loads up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Terms and Conditions
