Role Overview
This contract position is suited to a social media marketing specialist who can both run campaigns independently and transfer practical know-how to a client. You will work closely with an experienced event management consultant to build, launch, and refine paid social campaigns, with the main emphasis on Meta advertising. Alongside campaign execution, you will provide hands-on coaching so the client can eventually handle their own social media and paid advertising confidently.
The client works in event management, consulting, and training across the events, hospitality, and experiential marketing space, so the work sits in a fast-moving environment where digital campaigns can have a direct business impact.
Key Deliverables
- Create, manage, and continuously improve paid social advertising campaigns, especially on Meta platforms.
- Plan, queue, publish, and oversee content across several social media channels.
- Share practical advice, step-by-step methods, and proven best practices for campaign execution and content planning.
- Prepare clear documentation and easy reference guides that the client can use later.
- Provide live feedback, encouragement, and support to strengthen the client’s own social media marketing skills.
- Monitor campaign results, produce performance updates, and recommend changes to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in social media marketing, particularly with Meta Ads and scheduling content across multiple platforms.
- Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas in a simple and practical way.
- Current understanding of social media trends, reporting, analytics, and channel best practices.
- Prior experience with clients in events, hospitality, or experiential marketing is beneficial.
- Comfort using social media tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Meta Business Suite.
- Well-developed organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a training-led working style.
- Availability for remote work and flexible coordination.
