Job description
Role Overview
This opportunity is designed for a social media marketing professional who can both run campaigns hands-on and teach the client how to do it confidently themselves. You will work closely with an experienced consultant in event management to plan, launch, refine, and oversee paid social activity, with a primary emphasis on Meta advertising. Alongside campaign execution, the assignment also requires practical coaching so the client can eventually manage their own social media and ad accounts independently.
The client operates in event management, consultancy, and training across the events, hospitality, and experiential marketing spaces, creating a fast-moving environment where effective digital promotion can make a strong impact.
Deliverables
- Build, run, and continuously improve paid social campaigns, especially on Meta platforms.
- Plan content, publish it across several social channels, and keep an eye on performance and engagement.
- Explain campaign setup, content planning, and optimization in a clear, usable way.
- Create straightforward documentation and step-by-step guides that can be reused later.
- Give live guidance and feedback to strengthen the client’s confidence and practical skills.
- Monitor results, prepare performance updates, and recommend changes to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Solid background in social media marketing, with hands-on experience in Meta Ads and scheduling content across multiple platforms.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and simplify technical or strategic ideas for someone learning the process.
- Current understanding of social media trends, reporting, and best-practice approaches.
- Experience with clients in events, hospitality, or experiential marketing would be an advantage.
- Comfort using tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.
- Strong planning habits, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a training-led arrangement.
- Availability for remote work and flexible coordination.
