Role overview

This position is for a capable Remote IT Technician who will support internal users and clients by diagnosing technology issues, resolving faults, and keeping day-to-day systems running reliably in a fully remote setting.

What you will do

  • Investigate and fix problems related to hardware, software, and networking from a remote location.
  • Deliver technical assistance via chat, email, and video-based support.
  • Set up, configure, and refresh software and system utilities as needed.
  • Monitor systems, review performance, and carry out basic upkeep tasks.
  • Walk users through troubleshooting steps in a clear and easy-to-follow manner.
  • Record issue details, solutions, and system changes accurately.
  • Follow security practices and hand over more complex issues when escalation is required.

What we are looking for

A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. Experience in IT support, help desk operations, or technical troubleshooting will be considered an advantage. The role calls for a solid grasp of operating systems, basic networking, and commonly used software tools, along with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Candidates should be comfortable using remote support platforms and ticketing tools, be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a structured approach to resolving issues. Careful attention to detail is essential.
