Job description
About the Role
This role is for quantitative specialists who want to contribute to the training of advanced AI systems. You will assess AI-produced quantitative work, tackle technical problem-solving tasks, and give detailed feedback that helps improve how models reason through data, statistical patterns, scientific issues, and analytical challenges.
The position is suitable for people from fields such as data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other data-driven disciplines. It can be handled alongside another full-time job for some professionals, while others may choose to focus on it as their main work.
How the Selection Process Works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that functions as the screening step. If you are successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will be unlocked on the platform.
Contracting Benefits
- You decide which projects to take on and when to work.
- You can work independently on your own computer, from wherever you are most comfortable.
- Compensation is hourly, starting at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, and some projects may offer bonus pay.
Key Responsibilities
Your work will focus on evaluating and strengthening AI systems for quantitative reasoning.
- Review AI-generated quantitative outputs for correctness, practical validity, and technical soundness across areas such as statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data interpretation.
- Create and solve quantitative problems used to train and benchmark AI models, including forecasting, experimental design, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Produce concise technical write-ups and maintain well-structured analytical code.
- Share feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models used for quantitative tasks.
Qualifications
- You should have at least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting.
- Relevant backgrounds may include data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or related fields.
- Some coding ability is required, along with the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- You need hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level is required, together with excellent writing ability.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred; a master’s degree or PhD is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated credentials such as Kaggle rankings, AWS/GCP ML certifications, or similar proof of expertise are considered a plus.
