Role Overview
We are looking for a Remote Graphic Designer to develop visual content that supports the magazine’s print publication, website, social media, newsletters, marketing campaigns, and special editorial initiatives. This role partners closely with editors, writers, and the marketing team to produce visuals that align with the brand and appeal to a global audience.
The right candidate will bring a strong design sense, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to stay creative while handling several deadlines in a busy publishing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create graphics, illustrations, and page layouts for print and digital publications.
- Develop visual assets for articles, feature coverage, newsletters, advertisements, and promotional efforts.
- Produce social media graphics that help grow the publication’s digital presence.
- Work with editors and marketing colleagues to shape visual ideas that support editorial work.
- Prepare artwork and files for online publishing as well as professional print output.
- Keep all creative deliverables aligned with brand standards and a consistent visual identity.
- Retouch and refine photos, illustrations, and other design elements when needed.
- Build banners, infographics, presentations, and marketing collateral for events, advertising, and partnerships.
- Support website visuals and digital content updates.
- Handle several design assignments at once while meeting publishing timelines.
- Maintain organized digital design files and asset libraries.
- Stay informed about current design trends, publishing practices, and new creative tools.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in graphic design, digital media, publishing, marketing, or another related creative discipline.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience creating designs for both print and digital channels.
- Strong grasp of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio showcasing creative and professional design work is required.
- Interest in animation, entertainment, gaming, film, or digital media is an advantage.
Compensation
The salary for this role is USD 65,000 to USD 95,000 per year.
