Remote English Teacher

About the Role

This position is for an enthusiastic online English teacher who can lead interactive group classes for children from rural parts of India. The role calls for strong English communication, a genuine interest in teaching, comfort with managing groups of young learners, and the ability to build a positive and supportive virtual classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Take live online English classes for student groups.
• Teach spoken English, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, and communication skills.
• Follow the curriculum and lesson plans supplied by the company.
• Create a classroom atmosphere that is engaging, inclusive, and encouraging.
• Use activities and interactive teaching techniques to increase participation.
• Track learner progress and share helpful feedback.
• Record attendance and prepare class reports whenever needed.
• Manage the virtual classroom effectively and encourage active involvement.
• Join training sessions and company meetings as scheduled.
• Build confidence and communication ability among children from varied backgrounds.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred. Freshers with excellent English communication skills and a strong interest in teaching are also welcome.

Experience

Prior teaching experience with children, whether online or offline, will be preferred. Experience managing group classes will be an added advantage.

Technical Requirements

• A laptop or desktop computer with a working webcam and microphone.
• Stable broadband internet access.
• Backup internet connection is preferred.
• Reliable electricity and backup power arrangements are preferred.
• A quiet, well-lit, and distraction-free place suitable for online teaching.
• Comfort using Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.

Compensation

The role offers monthly pay in the range of ₹12,000 to ₹15,000.
