Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a Relief Dispenser to assist across various store locations within a designated geographic region. As a vital part of the pharmacy team, you will support the pharmacist and healthcare staff to ensure the accurate and safe provision of pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately while maintaining the safe supply of medications including tasks such as ordering, labeling, endorsing, and prescription collection.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in-store to help manage and deliver pharmacy services efficiently.
- Offer care and guidance to patients regarding their medications and refer any complex queries to the Pharmacist.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure legally compliant dispensing practices.
- Stay updated on new store innovations and adhere to operational processes.
- Support patients in managing their prescriptions through reliable repeats and encourage proper medication adherence to minimize waste.
- Communicate regularly with store teams to maintain continuity of patient care.
- Engage with evolving in-store technologies that enhance dispensing safety and free up time for patient-centered service.
Requirements
- Completion of Pharmacy Advisor qualification at NVQ Level 2 or an equivalent certification.
- Ability to travel flexibly across an assigned geographic area.
- Current and valid right to work in the UK; sponsorship for Skilled Worker Visa is not available for this role.
- Experience in community pharmacy is advantageous but not mandatory.

The hourly wage starts from £13.92 and can reach up to £16.64 in selected London locations.
