Role Overview
The Relationship Manager for Tractor Loans is tasked with bringing in new tractor loan customers, overseeing existing relationships, and supporting a strong and healthy loan book. This position works closely with product, operations, and dealership teams to expand business, improve customer experience, and provide suitable financing solutions. The role also includes managing dealership-linked business and supporting the branch banking channel in achieving its goals.
Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Source new tractor loan customers by evaluating creditworthiness and delivering complete financing support.
- Stay connected with current customers through regular outreach, including sharing product updates and changes in interest rates.
- Onboard fresh dealers, DSAs, and DSTs across the assigned market.
- Build new dealership business leads through references, promotional efforts, and direct customer engagement.
- Run policy-oriented training sessions for internal staff to keep them aligned with product rules and procedures.
- Address customer concerns promptly and maintain strong service satisfaction levels.
- Track performance across channels and teams to ensure quality sourcing and a sound loan portfolio.
- Review competitor offerings and market approaches to support business planning and expansion.
- Suggest workflow and process enhancements that improve service speed and quality across the branch network.
- Design and implement sales campaigns and marketing activities to increase business.
Additional Responsibilities
- Work with other business lines to identify and convert cross-sell opportunities.
- Collect input from customers and channel partners to refine growth strategies and execution plans.
Requirements
- A graduate degree in any discipline, such as BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BTech, or BE.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in branch banking, with preference for rural lending or tractor finance exposure.
- Good knowledge of tractor loan products and the needs of rural borrowers.
- Demonstrated success in customer acquisition and managing dealership relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze market patterns and assess competitor activity.
- Experience handling sales channels and dealer networks.
- Leadership capability to guide and support team members.
- Strong ethics and a clear compliance-focused mindset.
- Strategic planning skills with the ability to execute effectively.
