About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Relationship Manager to become part of our Medium Enterprises division. This position involves managing and expanding a client portfolio with businesses having turnovers between ₹100 Crore and ₹500 Crore while ensuring portfolio quality and promoting additional financial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new-to-bank clients within the medium enterprise sector by leveraging market research, referrals, and industry relations.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through consistent engagement to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Perform detailed credit evaluations and compose credit proposals for both existing and prospective clients in accordance with banking credit guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal credit departments for the sanctioning of proposals and communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial requirements to match suitable product offerings.
- Manage portfolio health by ensuring timely renewals, compliance with credit limits, complete documentation, and monitoring for early warning signs to uphold high asset quality and reduce defaults.
- Explore and implement cross-selling strategies for a variety of products including trade finance, treasury services, cash management, insurance, and working capital facilities.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
- Between 3 to 12 years of experience in corporate, SME, or medium enterprise banking sectors.
- Competent in credit assessment and financial statement analysis.
- Exceptional skills in building and maintaining client relationships along with strong communication abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to grow business while effectively managing credit risk.
