About the Role
Our client, a global corporate bank with significant operations in Ireland, is looking for a Relationship Manager on an initial 12-month contract, with possible extension or permanent opportunities. This position involves assisting a Relationship Director in managing and expanding a portfolio of corporate clients, primarily in the Consumer Sector, while collaborating closely with teams across Ireland and Europe to provide customized solutions and excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Relationship Director in client relationship management, identifying business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions.
- Participate in client meetings, support business development initiatives, and coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Perform financial, credit, and profitability analyses.
- Develop detailed credit submissions for new and existing lending facilities.
- Support daily client planning, manage sales pipeline, and maintain call reports.
- Oversee credit risk by reviewing concern lists and credit control reports.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree; additional professional qualifications are a plus.
- Have at least 5 years of experience within a financial institution in credit-related roles.
- Strong comprehension of commercial and financial factors influencing informed decisions.
- Demonstrated expertise in credit assessment with strong credit writing and submission skills.
- Good knowledge of risk management procedures and regulatory standards.
- Effective relationship-building abilities to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
