About the Role
We are seeking a Relationship Associate to join our Business Division based in Queenstown. This permanent full-time position involves assisting a team of Relationship Managers by simplifying banking processes for customers, providing insightful financial analysis, lending, and administrative support for specified customer groups. This role is well-suited for emerging professionals aiming to eventually undertake Relationship Management duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer portfolios, their objectives, challenges, and value propositions.
- Elevate the bank's standing by demonstrating knowledge of customer industries and relevant markets.
- Collaborate effectively within Business teams and across ANZ departments to build strong relationships.
- Partner with Relationship and Senior Managers along with product specialists to design and execute tailored customer solutions and address issues.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s standards and maintain operational excellence.
- Support financial data analysis and interpret customer information to facilitate accurate credit decisions.
- Keep abreast of the Bank’s credit policies and challenges to make informed decisions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Sound financial literacy complemented by strong analytical and business acumen.
- Ability to analyze financial trends and assess their implications.
- Experience in customer-facing roles emphasizing relationship building and service delivery.
- Knowledge of structuring security arrangements.
- Banking industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Preferred candidates will have an accounting or finance degree or the equivalent.
While possessing all these qualifications is not mandatory, a growth mindset and most of these abilities will make you a strong candidate for the role.
