Role Overview

This position focuses on technical support and product testing in the United States, with the goal of helping sales and operations expand the business. The main emphasis is on laboratory testing and regulatory compliance for consumer and household-related products.

Key Duties

• Assist internal sales teams and account managers with technical input, including during client-facing discussions when needed.
• Contribute technical support for tender responses and project proposals.
• Help manage and lead retailer programs tied to products in the business unit.
• Monitor open and incoming orders for the local C&H laboratory.
• Draft or assist with test plans, test protocols, and SOPs that align with regulatory or client requirements.
• Prepare desktop review reports, including ingredient checks and product label reviews under applicable US and Canada laws.
• Train on, support, and eventually lead sensory and consumer panel testing activities.
• Keep current on federal and state requirements, hazardous materials rules, and other applicable US and Canada regulations covering cosmetics, personal care, and household products.
• Create, review, and distribute test reports as required.
• Take on other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, microbiology, or a similar discipline is required.
• Knowledge or prior experience with regulations for cosmetics, personal care, and/or household products is required for the C&H area.
• At least 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
• Experience reviewing formulas and checking product labels for regulatory compliance is required.
• Background in cosmetics, personal care, or household care testing services such as microbiological or chemical testing is preferred for C&H.
• Regulatory knowledge or experience is desirable and required as noted in the source description.

Additional Information

Salary: USD 62,000 to 75,000 per year.
