About the Role

Tayco is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Canada. This full-time, remote position involves developing and executing regional business strategies to achieve sales targets and foster strong dealer relationships within the contract furniture market across Western Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan). You will be part of an engaging and motivated team, contributing to Tayco's exciting growth trajectory and fantastic company culture, recognized by Great Place to Work Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Implement sales innovations and targeted business development strategies aligned with the overall Sales Plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new market opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain highly productive relationships with customers and dealers, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage Inside Sales Representative (ISR) relationships and performance, conducting quarterly business reviews and ensuring annual targets and contracts are met.
  • Effectively communicate Tayco's brand identity to the customer base.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to understand consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and competitive impacts.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by training ISRs and dealers, monitoring performance, and refining sales approaches.
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences to enhance product knowledge, network, and drive sales.
  • Analyze sales performance against corporate objectives and market dynamics.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the furniture or systems industry.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills to identify key business issues, problems, and opportunities.
  • Proven ability to achieve results and exceed expectations.
  • Strong customer focus with a commitment to meeting customer needs and valuing customer service.
  • Proficiency in delivering effective sales presentations.
  • Skilled in negotiation to achieve win-win solutions.
  • Aptitude for conflict management and finding common ground.
