Role Overview
This position is for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales and business expansion across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from a remote setup. The role sits within the International Sales department and reports to the Vice President – International Sales.
The opportunity is focused on growing revenue, widening market reach, building long-term customer relationships, and strengthening distributor and channel-partner coverage for industrial electrical and automation solutions.
The compensation offered is up to SAR 20,000 per month, which includes the performance-linked incentive.
What You Will Be Responsible For
You will lead market development efforts, manage key customer and partner relationships, coordinate with internal teams, and drive regional sales performance. The role also includes business planning, reporting, collections support, and people leadership.
Market Development and Business Growth
- Spot and pursue fresh business opportunities across Saudi Arabia.
- Turn leads into active revenue opportunities and sales.
- Study market demand, competitor movement, pricing trends, and new business openings.
- Build a healthy pipeline across distributors, wholesalers, retailers, contractors, EPC firms, utilities, and industrial buyers.
- Expand into new customer groups and drive market penetration.
Customer and Stakeholder Management
- Create and sustain strong relationships with major accounts and decision-makers.
- Hold periodic business reviews and customer meetings.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through responsive support and engagement.
- Develop connections with electrical consultants, utility bodies, oil and gas stakeholders, and industrial influencers to support approvals and specifications.
- Identify cross-selling and expansion opportunities.
Channel Partner Management
- Find, assess, appoint, and manage distributors and channel partners across KSA.
- Track partner performance through structured reviews.
- Build joint business plans and market approaches with partners.
- Run partner-led growth activities such as exhibitions, seminars, customer events, and promotional drives.
- Keep channel relationships productive while ensuring balanced growth across the network.
Sales Operations and Coordination
- Work with Production, Logistics, Finance, Product Management, Marketing, and R&D teams in India to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Support forecasting and demand-planning activities.
- Share sales updates, market intelligence, and business reports with management regularly.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations and import/export rules.
- Assist with product launches and new market-entry initiatives.
Revenue, Planning, and Collections
- Deliver on revenue, profitability, and market-share goals.
- Prepare annual sales plans, budgets, and growth roadmaps.
- Build and execute long-term business development plans for the region.
- Review performance and adjust plans based on changing market conditions.
- Drive collections and help reduce accounts receivable days.
Team Leadership
- Set KPIs and performance targets for team members.
- Coach and mentor the team to build capability.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback.
- Identify training gaps and support skill development.

Required Background
The preferred candidate should have a BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a similar engineering discipline, along with 12+ years of experience in sales and business development. Exposure to Process Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical Products, Switchgear, Industrial Solutions, or a related sector is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of the Saudi industrial market is important, along with proven success in handling distributors, consultants, utility stakeholders, EPC contractors, and end customers.
Skills and Competencies
This role calls for a strong mix of technical sales capability, commercial judgement, leadership, and cross-functional coordination. The candidate should be comfortable working in multicultural settings and be able to influence stakeholders at different levels.
Preferred Market Exposure
- Deep experience in the Saudi Arabian market
- A well-established network across utilities, oil and gas, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, EPC, and process industries
- Hands-on experience in managing distributors and channel-led sales
- GCC market exposure will be considered an advantage
