Role Overview
As part of our global expansion, we seek a dynamic Sales Manager to spearhead market growth in the DACH region. This role offers a chance to contribute to a profitable and expanding cybersecurity company characterized by strong market presence, a collaborative atmosphere, and significant opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify prospective clients within the designated region, adopting a proactive “hunter” sales approach to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage sales opportunities at strategic and tactical levels.
- Engage with corporate clients, public sector units, and government entities through direct, in-person interactions to finalize deals.
- Forge and maintain strong executive-level partnerships with enterprise customers and strategic allies.
- Handle all facets of business development, from lead generation and pricing strategies to proposal preparations and closure.
- Stay informed about product updates and industry trends via AlgoSec’s web-based training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Monitor client opportunities, market conditions, future prospects, and competitive landscape; regularly update AlgoSec management on key customer insights.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Channel groups to maximize customer impact.
- Enhance strategic partner networks within the region.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ successful sales experience in IT or cybersecurity domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience selling to enterprise clients, government bodies, and public sector organizations.
- A challenger mindset coupled with a resilient, can-do attitude and disciplined work ethic.
- Consistent track record of exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Proficient and disciplined use of Salesforce and recognized sales methodologies.
- Strong computer literacy along with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- An extensive network of contacts within the industry.
- Familiarity with Workflow Automation, Change Management, and Project Management systems.
- Experience selling cloud security solutions.
- Established relationships with local channels and system integrators.
- Fluency in both English and German, with excellent communication skills in these languages.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience marketing complex cybersecurity, SaaS, and platform-based solutions.
- Existing relationships with strategic partners such as Cisco, Optiv, NTT, or Presidio.
